CHILDCARE SERVICES MANAGER, NORTH TIPPERARY
NTDC invites applications for a Manager who will have responsibility
for the day to day management of the Roscrea Little Learners and First
Steps Childcare Services. This is an exciting and challenging
opportunity to manage a well-established and highly regarded
service’s which have strong and dedicated staff teams.
The appointee will be responsible for ensuring the effective and
efficient operation of the Service and the quality of the supports
offered. S/he will be responsible for providing supervision and
support for staff in relation to the work and their ongoing
professional development.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST MEET THE CRITERIA OF THE JOB
SPECIFICATION INCLUDING:
* Relevant Level 8 professional Qualification in Early Childhood
Studies.
* At least 5 years’ experience in Childcare Work.
* At least 3 years’ Childcare/Afterschool Service and Staff
Management Experience.
* Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of childcare development
principles and practices.
* Experience of Managing and implementing Government supported
Childcare Funding Programmes.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Full-time position - working *.5 hours per
